Request InfoSensoray Co. Inc.Sensoray has released the model 2411 still-image video server, a stack of PC/104+ boards that are programmed to capture single frames from composite sources such as radar, ultrasonic sources and video cameras. Either a software command or an external switch can trigger frame capture, and stored images can be compressed by a jpeg function before they are downloaded via the Ethernet port and/or stored in internal memory. Typical compression factors are 20:1. The system is programmed with an FTP server to facilitate image transfer to a remote computer and to download custom application programs.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra January 2024 IssuePositioning and Inspection SensorsThe smart 2D profile sensors of the OX series from Baumer are made for positioning and inspection tasks in assembly and handling.
