It comprises the Infrasight thermal imaging camera, a 20-µm lens, an optical mounting table, a vertical focusing stage, a locking X-Y stage, a cooling fan, a Dell tower PC with an LCD multimedia monitor, cables and Thermalyze image-analysis software. The camera obtains the temperature at 19,200 points on each image, with sensitivity of 0.2 °C for the microscopy lens and 0.1 °C with a wide-angle lens.
