VICTOR, N.Y., Aug. 17 -- Bristol Instruments Inc., a new company founded by three former employees of Burleigh Instruments, has introduced its model 521 laser wavelength meter. The model 521 is intended for scientists and engineers who need to know the absolute wavelength of a laser but not to the highest accuracy. The 521 laser wavelength meter uses Michelson interferometer-based technology to measure the absolute wavelength of virtually any continuous wave laser to an accuracy of ± 10 ppm (± 0.01 nm at 1000 nm).
