Request InfoImperx Inc.Imperx Inc. has announced that Gigabit Ethernet interfaces have been added to six models of its Lynx series smart cameras, enabling them to feed network spans of up to 100 m without a repeater and eliminating the need for frame grabbers. The cameras have onboard intelligence for acquiring and analyzing images autonomously. With the addition of Ethernet output, they can package images and analysis results and send them directly to a PC, a storage area network or other network node. Using TCP/IP protocol, they also can feed output directly to the Internet.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra January 2024 Issue65-MP Color CameraThe hr65CXGE from SVS-Vistek is a 65-megapixel color camera that uses a 10 GigE interface that enables connectivity via standard Ethernet cables up to 100 meters.
