Request InfoMetroLaser Inc.MetroLaser Inc. has released the VibroMet 500V, a single-beam laser Doppler vibrometer for noncontact vibration measurement. Improving on its predecessor, the VibroMet 500, it offers more sensitive measurement over a wider dynamic range and has a visible red laser beam for easier point-and-measure operation. The sensitivity range now starts at 2 µm/s, and vibration velocities to 1 m/s can be measured. The device’s high-coherence solid-state laser diode enables it to receive strong signals at distances of up to 5 m. It measures most surfaces without retrotape or other surface treatments and...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 2/13/2023Handheld Laser ScannerThe ZEISS T-SCAN hawk 2 handheld 3D laser scanner from Zeiss is a portable, reliable tool to capture data with metrology-grade precision in quality control or reverse engineering, maintenance,...Photonics.com 3/27/2024Small Beamsplitter DetectorThe LIM-082 from InfraTec is a small beamsplitter detector in current mode that can be used in gas measurement technology.
