Request InfoVoxtel Inc.High-sensitivity avalanche photodiodes for high-bandwidth applications have been announced by Voxtel Inc. They deliver avalanche noise of keff <0.18 and high quantum efficiency over the near-IR from 0.9 to 1.7 μm, including the eye-safe wavelengths >1.4 μm. The company says that its custom-engineered VDA series InGaAs avalanche photodiodes provide enhanced responsivity over both PIN detectors and conventional designs, while offering high-speed response and low noise.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2024 IssueCircadian Light MeterThe MSC15-CS from Gigahertz-Optik is a handheld spectral circadian stimulus light meter that helps to model circadian phototransduction in humans by measuring optical radiation in industrial and...Photonics Spectra April 2024 IssueAPD IR SensorsThe Aura family from Phlux Technology are avalanche photodiode (APD) infrared sensors based on Phlux’s noiseless InGaAs™ APD technology.
