Request InfoPrior Scientific Inc.ROCKLAND, Md., Oct. 23, 2006 -- Prior Scientific Inc. said it developed its Lumen 200 series fluorescence illumination systems to replace standard microscope HBO-type mercury lamphouses. It said the Lumen 200 was designed to illuminate fluorescently labeled specimens using a proprietary 200-W metal arc lamp with a 2000-hour life span. The light is coupled to the microscope via a two-meter or optional three-meter liquid light guide, which ensures even illumination and eliminates the need for complex bulb alignment. The Lumen 200's design removes the lamphouse from physical contact with the microscope, which eliminates...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content June 2023 IssueCustom Microscopes and Optical SystemsPrior Scientific has developed OpenStand to offer a working platform to build OEM solutions and one-off customizations with excellent value for money and reduced development time.
