Newport Corp.’s ultrafast laser chirped mirrors compensate for group velocity dispersion with a negative dispersion correction value of up to –160 fs2 per bounce. Two or three mirrors used in combination with the company’s clear quadrant optics mounts compensate for pulse broadening effects by providing negative group velocity dispersion to an incoming laser beam. The mirrors support wavelengths from 700 to 900 nm, enabling their use with many kinds of lasers.
