Request InfoNew Scale Technologies Inc.For portable imaging applications, New Scale Technologies Inc. has created a miniature version of its cryogenic Squiggle motor. Measuring 3.4 × 3.4 × 10 mm, the SQL-3.4-cryo operates continuously from room temperature to cryogenic temperatures of 77 K and below and enables precise active alignment of the optics at any temperature. The motor offers up to 30 mm of travel, depending on screw length, and holds its position with the power off. It operates at 5 mm/s, achieves 0.5-μm resolution and produces stall force of >100 g.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 1/18/2018Fiberguide RARe Motheye Fiber: Random Anti-Reflective (RARe) Nanostructures on Optical Fibers as Replacement for AR CoatingsAnti-reflective (AR) coatings are now entering their second century and have remained virtually unchanged throughout their life.
