Request InfoFor Carrier-Envelope Phase StabilizationCoherent Inc.SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 21, 2007 -- The new Micra-CEP from Coherent Inc. is a unique system for generating carrier-envelope phase (CEP) stabilized ultrafast laser pulses, the company said. The system combines its highly flexible and stable broadband ultrafast Micra laser with a carrier-envelope phase detection module and fast feedback electronics, Coherent said. By active feedback control of the laser, the CEP stabilizer locks the phase velocity of the oscillating light field to the group velocity of the pulse envelope. For ultrashort pulses consisting of only a few optical cycles, the peak of the oscillating electric field...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2024 IssueRackmount Optical ClockThe Evergreen-30 from Vector Atomic is a fully integrated optical clock offering 25 femtosecond stability at one second, and multi-day, sub-nanosecond holdover.
