Request InfoVision Research Inc., Phantom Digital High-Speed CamerasVision Research Inc. has introduced a firmware upgrade to its Phantom V7.3 digital high-speed camera. The upgrade, called turbo mode, enables users to capture more pictures per second. The camera now has two operating modes. In standard mode, it captures images at between 6700 and 190,000 fps, depending upon the resolution, and the exposure time is programmable. With the turbo mode setup file, the camera can acquire images at up to 500,000 fps with 32 × 16-pixel resolution and with a fixed 1-μs exposure time. Switching between modes is accomplished via a new version of the Phantom...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content February 2024 IssueExceptional Image Quality in the Most Space-Efficient PackageCost-effective, industrial-grade cameras are an important growth driver for automation, as it is not always necessary to opt for a high-end solution.
