The Cobolt Samba is a true single-longitudinal-mode laser with a measured linewidth of <1 MHz, low noise of <0.3% rms and beam quality of M2 <1.1 over a temperature range of 10 to 40 °C. The system has long-term wavelength stability of <0.02 nm, power stability of <3% and high suppression of any sideband emission down to <10–8.
