Request InfoNavitar Inc.Four fixed-focal-length imaging optics designed for short-wavelength infrared cameras and applications have been introduced by Navitar Inc. Focal lengths include two 25-mm designs, a 35- and a 50-mm version. They are supplied with thumbscrews for locking the focus and iris functions. They cover 16-mm-diagonal sensors, offer high-resolution images and provide transmission of 75% or better from 700 to 1900 nm. Applications include perimeter surveillance, food sorting, border and port security, quality control and aerial imaging.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSVision-Spectra.com January 2024 IssueMultizone Time-of-Flight SensorThe VL53L8CX from STMicroelectronics is an 8×8 multizone time-of-flight ranging sensor that can be used for applications including human-presence sensing, gesture recognition, robotics, and...Photonics Spectra September 2022 IssueMWIR Continuous Zoom LensThe Ophir® LightIR 18- to 225-mm MWIR f/4 continuous zoom lens from MKS Instruments Inc. is a compact thermal imaging lens optimized for 10-µm SXGA/HD and 15-µm VGA focal plane array...Photonics.com 1/13/2023Nano SensorsThe NanoCeramic series of sensors from Queensgate Instruments provides nanoscale precision for demanding environments such as ultrahigh vacuum to 1010 Torr and a range of temperatures from cryogenic...Photonics Spectra July 2023 IssueImage DetectorThe SWIFT-EI image detector from SemiConductor Devices Ltd. enables SWIR capabilities for small and large distribution defense systems, as well as commercial, machine vision, and industrial...ARTICLESPhotonics Spectra February 2024 IssueNanowire Single-photon Detector Lets Machines See Through WallsUsing a superconducting nanowire single-photon detector (SNSPD) as the light-sensing element, researchers from Tianjin University demonstrated non-line-of-sight (NLOS) imaging at two infrared (IR)...Photonics.com 7/27/2023Pixel-by-Pixel, Detector Captures Far-Away Targets in all ConditionsThe capability to detect and track small, moving objects remotely, in all conditions, is crucial to many surveillance and monitoring missions.
