Request InfoCobolt ABCobolt AB has expanded its line of compact visible lasers with the addition of the Cobolt Mambo, a CW solid-state laser that operates at a fixed wavelength of 594 nm with output power of 25 mW. Suitable for fluorescence analysis applications such as confocal microscopy and flow cytometry, the single-longitudinal-mode device has low noise of <0.3% rms, high beam quality with M2 <1.1 and a narrow spectral linewidth. Providing an alternative to HeNe lasers, it is used in fluorescence applications such as the excitation of Alexa Fluor 594 and Texas Red.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra October 2023 IssueMultiphoton Confocal MicroscopeThe AX R MP super-resolution multiphoton confocal microscope with the Nikon Spatial Array Confocal (NSPARC) detector is designed for observing deep areas within large living organisms with high...BioPhotonics Jan/Feb 2024 Issue4K Digital MicroscopeThe TAGARNO T50 from TAGARNO is a 4K digital microscope that uses Sony ISS’s FCB-ER9500 camera.
