Princeton Optronics Inc.
Princeton Optronics Inc. has introduced an 808-nm semiconductor laser that is suitable for use in medical devices. The system (PO-CS1-70-W808) consists of a 2-D planar vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) array mounted on a high thermal conductivity submount. It produces 70 W of output power in CW mode, with a spectral width of about 0.8 nm, a thermally stable emission wavelength (0.06 nm/K) and low beam divergence. It is immune to backreflections and can operate at high temperatures of up to 80 °C. It can be operated in quasi-CW or short-pulsed (<20-ns) modes.See full product
