The backreflection-immune 808-nm (PCW-CA1-40-W0808) and 976-nm (PCW-CA1-40-W0976) semiconductor lasers are based on vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) technology. The devices comprise a 2-D planar VCSEL array mounted on a high thermal conductivity submount and a copper base.
