Request InfoActive MotifActive Motif Inc.’s LavaCell stain is a neutral, cell-permeable bright orange stain for live- and fixed-cell visualization of proteins, bacteria and yeast. Made from a 410-molecular-weight fungus compound, it is non-toxic and does not inhibit cell growth. It is excited by 405-, 488- and 532-nm laser sources and has a long Stokes shift to a 610-nm emission peak. Because it reacts with free amine groups but does not stain nucleic acids, the stain is ideal for multiplexing. It is provided in 200-mcg vials at 1 mg/ml concentration.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics.com April 2024 IssueAI FPGAsThe Agilex™ 5 FPGAs from Altera and Intel are AI enabled field programmable gate arrays meant for mid-range applications including video, industrial, robotics, medical, and others.
