Request InfoCoherent Inc.SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 19, 2010 — Coherent Inc. has expanded its Sapphire family of compact continuous-wave visible lasers with 532-nm green models based on proprietary optically pumped semiconductor laser (OPSL) technology. Two models of the Sapphire 532 are being offered with a choice of either 200- or 300-mW output. They provide a high-quality TEM00 output beam characterized by low noise of 0.25% rms. Their combination of compact 125 × 70 × 34-mm packaging and low power consumption translates into easier integration and lower cost of ownership for OEM instrument builders. The lasers have the same...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Mar/Apr 2024 IssueRed Microscopy LaserThe OBIS 640 XT from Coherent Corp. is a red diode-pumped solid-state laser module for super-resolution microscopy.
