The IRDye 800CW EGF optical probe released by Li-Cor Biosciences facilitates in vitro ligand-binding assays, in vivo near-IR animal imaging, whole-organ imaging and tissue section assays. Composed of fluorescently tagged human epidermal growth factor, the probe features an absorbance maximum of 774 nm and an emission maximum of 789 nm, both in 1x phosphate-buffered saline. Each tube of the product, which is designed for murine studies, contains 20 nmol of lyophilized powder. Optimal in vivo imaging occurs from three to four days after injection into the tail vein.See full product
