Request InfoMKS/NewportIRVINE, Calif., May 24, 2012 — Newport Corp. has announced the SR-Series magnetic-base optical support rods for mounting components to an optical table. The 1.5-in.-diameter stainless steel rods are stable and rigid, making them suitable for large optical mounts. For added flexibility, each pedestal rod has two sizes of threaded mounting holes (8-32/M4 and ¼-20/M6). The SR-Z rods feature graduated height marks and an integrated high-strength magnet in the pedestal base. The all-stainless-steel clamping fork makes it easy to clamp the rods to any optical table. Accessories include the SR-E threaded...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra July 2023 IssueMetrology SystemThe MESO™ metrology solution from Imagine Optic is designed for at-wavelength testing of flat surfaces.
