Sick has launched the W4S-3, a hygiene photoelectric sensor for harsh wash-down environments in the food and beverage industry. The company says the device’s stainless steel housing retains cleaning agents better than plastic housings and eliminates bacteria growth in applications where food may become lodged in small grooves, crevices or mounting holes.
