FALL RIVER, Mass., Sept. 13, 2013 — The GP 16 S and GP 8 S small spindle drives from maxon motor are suitable for applications in high-temperature and magnetically inductive environments, as well as medical engineering. The GP 16 S with ceramic spindle transmits up to 315 N in short-term operation; these axial forces are compensated by axial ball bearings in the gearhead’s output stage. The spindle drive offers a variety of reduction ratios in the integrated planetary gearhead, making it suitable for applications in focusing systems or valve and flap adjustment.
