Request InfoNew Avionics Corp.A new optical ice sensor from New Avionics Corp. allows automated monitoring inside industrial HVAC cooling towers. The Ice*Meister Model 9734-HVAC bright blue LED signals a data logging system whenever ice forms on the acrylic optical probe. The probe is insensitive to a film of water but can detect <0.1 in. of ice. The system can be used to help reduce the risk of ice damage, as well as limit inconvenient and hazardous topside ice inspections during wintertime.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra November 2023 IssueMiniature IR Sensor ModulesThe dual-lens TSMP95000 and single-lens TSMP96000 and TSMP98000 from Vishay Intertechnology are miniaturized infrared (IR) sensor modules for remote control systems that combine a wide supply voltage...Photonics.com 2/6/2024Laser Energy DetectorThe QE195LP-S-MB from Gentec-EO is a pyroelectric laser energy detector specifically made to measure lasers with extra wide beams in applications such as advanced materials research and processing,...Photonics Spectra January 2024 Issue3D Scanner for Large PartsMAX Series 3D scanners from Creaform are hand-held industrial scanners designed for large parts.
