Request InfoLaser Components Germany GmbHOLCHING, Germany, Dec. 2, 2014 — Laser Components’ Count-S is the newest addition to the company’s Count series of photon counters. The new module features a large active area of 500 µm to facilitate better focusing, and is also passively quenched. Its dead time of approximately 1 µs yields a maximum count rate of up to 1 million counts per second. The dark count rates of the Count-S range between 1000 and 5000 cps. It is designed for use in research that involves quantum optics and information.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra August 2022 IssuePyroelectric Detectors and EmittersThe 55+ series of pyroelectric detectors and emitters from Laser Components GmbH are matched to provide results at wavelengths between 5 and 10 µm.
