Request InfoMKS/NewportIRVINE, Calif., May 27, 2015 — Newport Corp. has announced the XPS-EDBL brushless DC motor driver, designed for motion-control applications requiring high acceleration, speed and duty cycles. An extension to Newport’s XPS-series universal multiaxis motion controller, the XPS-EDBL features a 25-A peak current, +96-V DC voltage and up to 1000 W of continuous power. The driver’s electronics are fully protected with a 150-W power resistor to dissipate regeneration energy. Two optional cooling fans are offered to limit temperature rise.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content February 2024 IssueFiber Optic De-SpecklerNewport™ fiber optic de-specklers maximize performance and reliability in illumination by eliminating modal interferences for cw to modulation up to 10 kHz, with no optical loss.
