By incorporating ultracompact laser annealing process characteristics into the existing amorphous silicon (a-Si) panel manufacturing process, crystallizing the a-Si into poly-silicon (p-Si), enabling the manufacture of detailed panels. The new process is also suited to larger panel production, supporting the creation of 50- to 70-in.
