(see Coherent Corp), II-VI InfraredSAXONBURG, Pa., Sept. 19, 2016 — II-VI Inc. has announced an uncooled, 980-nm pump laser module that features patent-pending in-package wavelength stabilization within an 8-pin mini-DIL package. The module eliminates the need for an external fiber Bragg gratings in the fiber pigtail assembly. It features an 80-μm low-bend loss, small-bend radius and polarization-maintaining fiber pigtail that enables optical amplification within small transceiver packages.
