National Research Institute of Optics (INO) is one of the major research Institutes of National Research Council of Italy (CNR). It focuses its expertise on research in Optics, in its most advanced and modern conception, spanning from optics manufacturing, to design and implementation of the most advanced optoelectronics and photonic devices, to manipulation of matter at the quantum level. INO-CNR is active in technology transfer, and fosters the creation of high-tech spin-off companies.
