Optical Components Co. announced the formation of Oki Optical Components (OOC), a subsidiary headquartered in New Jersey, to support its North American customers. OOC will focus on Oki's expanding line of 10 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s components, including modulators, lasers, photodiodes and high-speed integrated circuits for metro, intermediate and long haul network infrastructures.
