Interferometer Acquisition

Optical test equipment maker Trioptics GmbH of Wedel, Germany, has acquired the μPhase product line of interferometers from Switzerland-based Fisba Optik AG, along with Fisba’s Berlin-based business, Fisba Optik GmbH, effective June 30, 2010. Financial terms were not disclosed. Trioptics said the μPhase line complements its optical test equipment portfolio, which includes the TriAngle.
