Goodrich Opens New Sensor Facility
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 2, 2012 — Goodrich Corp.’s Sensors and Integrated Systems business unit has opened a 105-sq-ft facility in Brea, Calif., combining two former company facilities in California — Diamond Bar and Monterey Park. It will employ about 260 people.
The new site will provide rescue hoists, cargo winches, digital data systems and in-flight entertainment products and related services for the aerospace and defense industry. It also will serve as the business’ software center, providing software design and support to all Sensors and Integrated Systems sites worldwide.
The facility has space available for expansion and business growth.
