SANTA PAULA, Calif., Sept. 24, 2012 — Blake Fennell joined optical company Abrisa Technologies as president and CEO on Aug. 27.
Fennell spent 17 years in senior roles at Melles Griot, including as CEO and chief operations officer. Following the company’s acquisition by Norwest Equity Partners in 2007, he served another four years as president of the Laser Group within CVI Melles Griot. Norwest sold CVI Melles Griot to Idex Corp. in May 2011.
“My vision for the future of the company is to bring world-class manufacturing excellence to Abrisa Technologies, elevating the support for our optical products and services to our current and future customer base,” Fennell said.
Abrisa provides optical products and services through three divisions: Abrisa Industrial Glass Inc., Sycamore Glass Components and ZC&R Coatings for Optics.
