Flir Systems Inc. has received a $26.3 million contract to provide the US Navy with advanced imaging systems. The contract, awarded by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, is for installing advanced imaging systems and related electronics on Navy equipment. Work will be performed at Flir’s Wilsonville, Ore., facility. Deliveries were scheduled to begin in October and to be completed by December. Flir Systems designs thermal imaging and threat detection systems. Its products have applications in the life sciences, security, and research and development.
