THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., May 5, 2014 — Teledyne Technologies Inc. promotes two executives to key leadership positions effective May 16 following the resignation of Teledyne Dalsa CEO Brian Doody.

Former NASA COO Rex Geveden, current executive vice president of Teledyne, will relocate to Waterloo, Ontario, to succeed Doody. He joined the company in 2007 following a 24-year career in space, defense and energy industries.

Meanwhile, Janice L. Hess, executive vice president and COO of Teledyne’s engineered systems segment, will become president of the engineered systems segment and its division Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. Hess joined Teledyne Brown in 2000, serving as vice president of finance and CFO. She previously worked for Intergraph Computer Systems and Price Waterhouse in Alabama.

“I sincerely want to thank Brian Doody,” said Teledyne Chairman, President and CEO Dr. Robert Mehrabian. “Brian, who joined Dalsa Corp. as its fifth employee in 1985, was instrumental in the growth of the company and its successful integration with Teledyne following our acquisition in 2011.”
