Lidar System Deployed to Evaluate Wind Turbine Performance in Uruguay

Renewable NRG Systems (RNRG) of Hinesburg, Vt., and Ventus Ingeniería have announced plans to install RNRG’s Wind Iris nacelle-mounted lidar at the 20-MW Caracoles wind farm in Uruguay. The lidar system will monitor turbine performance and offer optimization solutions for the project.
