Laser Components IG Inc. of Hudson, N.H., and Ulm Photonics GmbH in Germany have entered into an exclusive agreement to distribute Ulm's vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers in North America. The companies will work together to provide technical support and customized services to clients in the region. Ulm's devices have potential applications in such areas as gas sensing, atomic clocks, rangefinding and communications.
