CompuCyte Corp. of Cambridge, Mass., and the National University of Singapore have announced their creation of the Southeast Asia Regional Quantitative Imaging Cytometry Center on the university campus. At the center, the university will offer symposia and educational programs to scientists who conduct tissue- and cell-based research. The American company has supplied the university with a research imaging cytometer and will continue to provide the institution with technical and scientific support, software and other technologies. The partners plan to hold the first symposium at the facility March 1.
