Headwall Photonics of Fitchburg, Mass., has formed a cooperative research and development agreement with the USDA Agricultural Research Service to develop and deploy spectral imaging systems for in-line processing of food products including fruit, vegetables and poultry. The company’s instrumentation will assist with the high-speed processing requirements.
