Leica Microsystems GmbH of Wetzlar, Germany, has purchased the assets of Life Optics of Vienna, Austria, a developer and producer of head-mounted optical systems for use in surgery and dentistry. The German company will add the acquired product line to its portfolio of surgical devices.
