EADS, a European aerospace and defense group, has placed an order worth € 6 million with Linos AG of Göttingen, Germany, for the development and manufacture of optical systems for defense applications.

The order was taken through the defense market segment of Linos' Information Technology & Communications business division. The interests also agreed to long-term cooperation in the area of optical systems.
