Prism Clinical Imaging Inc. of Elm Grove, Wis., in collaboration with investigators at The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, has received a $1.6 million, three-year grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop and clinically validate advanced medical imaging software to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of brain cancer. The project will allow the company to refine and validate new methods for mapping brain functions with MRI and for displaying results that are easily interpreted by physicians.
