Exotic Electro-Optics Inc. of Murrieta, Calif., a subsidiary of II-VI Inc., has begun building a facility next to its headquarters. The planned 24,000-sq-ft building will support fabrication of large sapphire windows for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications. The company plans to have the facility fully operational in 12 months.
