Davidson Optronics Inc. has introduced the K-Series of TV optoliner systems, a test facility for TV camera engineers. The compact systems are self-contained and operate in bright daylight, eliminating the need for wall charts. The test pattern projector is available in five versions, four of which allow an 8% variation in image size in both directions. The company says the precision lenses project sharp, distortion-free images of selected test patterns onto the sensitive area of the image sensor with a high degree of illumination uniformity. Users can check such parameters as sensitivity, gamma, geometric distortion, resolution as a function of contrast or light level, color registration, linearity and system square wave response.
