The LDC-3916371 laser diode control module from ILX Lightwave Corp. can control the wavelength and power in distributed feedback lasers. It features a temperature-control resolution of 0.01 °C from -5 to 50 °C, a TEC current of 1.5 A and a maximum laser-drive current of 500 mA. The device is designed for the LDC-3908 and the 3916 multichannel controllers and can be used with any of the nine modules in this product group. A digital-to-analog converter mode allows the temperature control to be changed by increments of one, providing an even finer temperature resolution.
