JAI's CV-M2 is a two-megapixel progressive-scan CCD camera that offers 1600 x 1200 resolution and 7.4 x 7.4-µm pixels. This digital monochrome camera provides 10-bit video output via a Camera Link interface. It also provides 17 full frames per second for single-channel video readout and 30 full fps with dual-channel readout. Higher frame rates can be achieved with partial scanning. Other features include edge preselect and pulse width external trigger modes and burst trigger for five edge preselected exposures in sequence. Shutter speeds up to 1/14,000 s in 10 steps are possible.
