Rofin-Sinar Inc.Rofin-Sinar's Laser Macro Group has introduced the DL-S series second-generation high-power laser diodes, which have a square beam geometry and output powers between 700 and 3100 W. Applications include brazing, surface treatment and thermal conduction welding. The lasers feature online power measurement, an integrated monitoring function for enhanced uptime of the diode stacks, IP-54-compliant housings and a positioning laser that is available also in a green wavelength. Typical lifetime is more than 10,000 operating hours.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra July 2023 IssueSpectroradiometerThe SpectraScan™ PR-1050 Spectroradiometer from Photo Research is designed for applications requiring precise light measurements from a range of light sources, such as display monitors and...Photonics.com 9/5/2022Alignment StageThe XYR-300-400 Alignment Stage from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. offers +/-3-μm accuracy for industrial, medical, semiconductor, production, research, and laboratory applications.
