Request InfoDataLase Ltd.Sherwood Technology Ltd.'s DataLase is a nontoxic, environmentally friendly additive designed to change color when exposed to the output of a low-power CO2 laser. Suitable for addition to inks, coatings and substrates, DataLase may be used to code and date products, to print graphics, and to decorate metal, paper and plastic. The company says the marks that are formed are stable, display high contrast and have a higher fidelity than those created in traditional coding and marking processes. It is investigating the additive's suitability for use with glass, confections and pharmaceuticals.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 3/27/2024Fiber Metalization SystemThe Midas Metalization System from Intlvac is designed to produce a single or multilayer symmetrical metal coating on ends, mid spans, or windows of optical fibers for use in a hermetically sealed...BioPhotonics May/Jun 2023 IssueMultimode Plate ReaderThe EnVison® Nexus™ Multimode Plate Reader from PerkinElmer Inc. drives improved research and discovery workflows for demanding high-throughput screening applications and drug discovery...Vision Spectra Winter 2022 IssueSWIR CameraThe Wildcat+ 640 SWIR camera from Xenics NV is dedicated to demanding industrial vision applications such as process monitoring, machine vision, medicine, and more, along with scientific uses. ...Photonics Spectra October 2023 IssueUltraviolet Nanosecond-Pulse LaserThe Spectra-Physics® Talon® Ace™ UV100 from MKS Instruments Inc. is a >100-W UV nanosecond laser.
