The BC series upright compound microscopes released by Jenco International Inc. feature a frame with improved stability for image documentation, an ergonomic single-hand focus to increase work flow and a stainless steel/brass gear train focus mechanism for high throughput. The true Köhler illumination features a field diaphragm and a 20-W, 6-V halogen bulb with an electronic dimmer. Binocular and trinocular models are available, with bright-field plan, phase plan, phase achromatic and infinity optics. Four objectives are supplied as standard: 4×, 10×, 40× retractable and 100× retractable (oil) as well as two 10× wide-field eyepieces. The 209 × 140-mm mechanical stage facilitates specimen handling.
