Request InfoOFSFor high-power amplifiers and lasers, OFS Specialty Photonics has introduced four erbium/ytterbium double-clad fibers. The fibers and the gain modules assembled from them offer high efficiency for lidar, test and measurement, and materials processing applications. The fibers are available with standard single-mode (6-μm core) and medium-mode (12-μm core) areas, and with or without polarization-maintaining construction. Benefits include high pump-to-signal power conversion efficiency, enhanced thermal management and improved suppression of parasitic lasing.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra April 2024 IssueRaman Fiber AmplifierThe RFA from TOPTICA Photonics AG is a Raman fiber amplifier that covers a wavelength range from 1120 to 1370 nm.
