Servometer/Precision Manufacturing Group LLC has refined the process for manufacturing custom-designed electroforms and thin-walled hollow metal components for use as cold shields, radiation shields, waveguides, molds for precision tubing, and light-weight structurally rigid components in many high-tech applications.

Servometer developed a patented process to produce integral baffled electroforms for use in precision cold-shield applications. Servometer electroforms can be made as small as 0.020 in. (0.5 mm) diameter out of nickel, copper, gold, silver, or a combination of these metals.

With the specialized electroforming process perfected by Servometer, most custom electroforms require no significant tooling,  allowing several prototype variations to be made and evaluated, as opposed to being locked into one design by expensive dies or molds.
